This
Collage of New York City was created from the following
photographs:
The panorama in the lower foreground of
the Downtown waterfront was created by stitched together a
set of six photographs. A second panorama constructed
from six photos of the Brooklyn bridge is in the upper
background. From left to right, additional photos
include Radio City, the Empire State Building, a billboard
with "Image all the people..." tribute to John Lennon, the Coca-Cola advertisement at Times
Square (no longer there!), a view of Times Square
looking south down 7th Avenue, the gold statue of Prometheus
at Rockefeller Center, the Chrysler Building, the Unisphere at Flushing Meadows Corona Park,
two views of buildings with fire escapes in Greenwich
Village, in the top right hand corner is one of
the European Sculpture rooms in the Metropolitan Museum of
Art. and
finally the Statue of Liberty.
